CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Film Appreciation
Junior Film Appreciation (ages 8 to 10) and Intermediate Film Appreciation (ages 11 to 14) take students on a tour of film genre and analysis designed for the young viewer. Students will be taught how to produce simple story boards and film criticism texts and analysis in English. Fees are all inclusive of equipment costs and administration. The teacher to student ratio is one to seven. A CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT is granted at the successful completion of the course

- time: juniors (4 pm to 5 pm) intermediate (5 pm to 6:30 pm) advanced (7:30 to 9:00 pm)

- fee: juniors (2,300 HKD) intermediate (2,650 HKD)

Film Editing
Junior Film Editing (ages 8 to 10), Intermediate Film Editing (ages 11 to 14), Advanced Film Editing (ages 15 and over) introduce students to the basics of a wide range of video editing software. Juniors start with I Movie learning the basics of the craft and technique of industry standard editing techniques before moving on to the more advanced Final Cut Pro platform. Intermediate and Advanced Classes touch on the basics before moving on to more intricate and complicated techniques using the Final Cut Studio platform. All classes are taught by qualified professionals using FOF's 24 " IMACs using High Definition footage. Emphasis is on craft and creativity. The course also covers theory and analysis. Fees are all inclusive of equipment costs and administration. A CERTIFICATE OF ACHIEVEMENT is granted at the successful completion of the course
